To be our nation's most effective advocate and support system for abused children:
- We advocate on behalf of children who are known to be victims of abuse yet are forced to live with or visit their offender.
- We provide therapeutic resources for children who are recovering from abuse and/or are at risk of further abuse where no other resources exist.
- We advocate only in cases of documented abuse.
- We work within all systems to ensure the child's best interest is being protected. These systems include child protective services, district/county attorneys' offices, law enforcement, and family/criminal courts.
Our Mission
To raise the consciousness of our society about the concerns facing abused children. To provide legal advocacy for abused children and to develop and implement, on a collaborative basis where possible, a full range of solutions that enhance the quality of life for these children.
